Daniels Family Funeral Services is proud to announce our first annual “Grateful – Then, Now and Always” essay contest for seniors of Rio Rancho High, V. Sue Cleveland High, Rio Rancho Cyber Academy, Independence High, and The ASK Academy.
The winner of the contest will receive a $1000 scholarship and will be recognized at our annual 9/11 Memorial Service to be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road, Rio Rancho.
Essay Topic
Name some of the “silent” victims of 9/11 and how we, as a nation, can
give them a voice.
Guidelines
1. Contest is open to seniors who will graduate during the Spring 2013 semester.
2. Essays must include a cover page including student’s full name, school name, parents’/guardians’
names, senior advisor name and e-mail address.
3. Essays must be between 500-750 words typed in Times New Roman (or similar) 12- point font, double
spaced, one inch margins, and submitted as a .pdf file.
4. Essays and cover sheets must be submitted by 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2012 to the following
