Here are some directions on how to access our Coal Location during the Coal Ave. improvements.

DURING CONSTRUCTION OF LEAD & COAL IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
While the City of Albuquerque is reconstructing Coal Avenue SE from I-25 to Washington Street SE as part of the Lead & Coal Improvements project, we are working with local businesses to provide as much access as possible. Please use the detour below to reach Daniels Family Funeral Services through the summer of 2011 (when construction on Coal is expected to be complete). We will revise this detour map when construction on Lead Avenue begins. Also, if you have questions, please feel free to contact:

Driving Directions from the East:
Take Lead west to I-25. Go under the I-25 overpass to the southbound frontage road, Locust. Turn left heading south on Locust. Take the first left, onto Coal, and then go back under I-25. Turn left from Coal onto the northbound frontage road, Oak. Stay in the right lane. Take Oak to Lead and turn right, heading east on Lead. You will see a detour sign at Cedar and a sign that says “No Thru Traffic.” Ignore the sign because local traffic is allowed. Turn right on Cedar and follow it to Daniels Family Funeral Services.
Driving Directions from the West:
Take Coal east from I-25. Turn left from Coal onto the northbound frontage road, Oak. Stay in the right lane. Take Oak to Lead, and turn right heading east on Lead. You will see a detour sign at Cedar and a sign that says “No Thru Traffic.” Ignore the sign because local traffic is allowed. Turn right on Cedar and follow it to Daniels Family Funeral Services.
